What is Physical Fanlisting?
A Physical Fanlisting is a listing of fans from all over the world of a subject only it is different because they list fanlistings for physical characteristics of real life celebrities and characters.
Voldemort
As a 16-year-old, Tom Riddle is described as being handsome, having jet black hair, dark eyes, and long fingers. In his late 20s he was no longer his handsome self. He was now very pale and his face looked “waxy and oddly distorted” The whites of his eyes now had a permanent bloody look. When Voldemort was in his "baby form”, he had the shape of a crouched human child. He was hairless and scaly-looking. His color was a dark, raw, reddish black. His arms and legs were thin and feeble; his face was flat, gaunt, and snakelike, and he had gleaming red eyes. After Voldemort’s rebirth he was tall and skeletally thin. His face was whiter than a skull and he had wide, livid scarlet eyes that were shaped like a cat's. His nose was as flat as a snake’s with slits for nostrils. His hands were like large, pale spiders, his fingers were long and while.
Why?
I decided to build this Physical Fanlisting because I am very much a fan of his appearance according to the books. It’s funny because as Tom Riddle, he is described as having dark hair and eyes, which is my favorite type of a guy. The only thing I like more than that is a nice bald man. So both “Riddle” and “Voldemort” happen to have the two features that I am most physically attracted to in man. But when I look past all that, I see his physical appearance in a deeper sense. He went through so many changes. He didn’t care about losing his good looks. They didn’t matter. They were good to charm people, but why have good looks when you can become more? He knows true sacrifice. He took so many risks to become what he is today. All of his physical changes show me just how much effort he put into becoming the most powerful sorcerer ever. And that is the big reason I am of fan of his looks. They really are a big part of who he is because they show the reader so much. And besides, it’s not every day you meet a guy as white as a skull with gleaming, red eyes like a cat’s, a lip-less smile, and a snakelike nose, right? Everything about Voldemort is amazing. Enough said.
